Hi! I am so glad you are here, and that I am able to share my story with you. 

My name is Chelsea, I am an 18 year old entrepreneur and the owner of Bite Me Sweets. 

My love for baking AND cooking began at a young age. For as long as I can remember I’ve been in the kitchen. As a toddler I would watch alongside anyone who was willing to let me tag along and help. Even if that meant something as simple as pouring ingredients in a bowl or mixing them.

Some might say it’s in my blood. Both my grandmothers absolutely love to cook and do it to absolute satisfaction. But what really stands out to me is all the countless hours my dad spent teaching me how to cook & bake from scratch. Walking me through the complete process, from the first step of washing your  hands to cleaning the after math! That’s when my interest really blossomed into something much bigger. 

Initially I only baked for myself and family. I would share with friends, neighbors and classmates, soon thereafter I began receiving requests from friends and family to make custom items. That’s when I started contemplating turning my passion into something more. 

I signed up for my first vendor event as a freshman in high school and surprisingly, did extremely well. I continued to attend and sell baked goods at community events, and suddenly I started gaining traction.  

To improve my skills, learn new techniques and gain more experience, I began taking baking classes in person and online. I continue to do that to this day, and plan to eventually teach my own! I’ve also taken foods and culinary courses in High-school, including an internship during the summer!

After my sophomore year, we moved to North Carolina, and that’s when I finally decided to open up a small business, where I work out of my home kitchen. Through social media, community events, and word of mouth, my business has really taken off. 

My specialities and most popular items consist of customer favorites. I am focusing on royal iced cookies, macarons, number cakes, custom cakes and dessert boxes. However, Bite Me Sweets continues to take requests and make personal customized orders, to include flavored cupcakes.

Sometimes we do not have the cookie cutter, shape, mold, or size to complete a specific order, therefore we recommend contacting us at your earliest opportunity if you are interested in placing a custom order and haven’t seen the theme posted on our page already. All orders must be placed at least two weeks prior to the date you wish to have it completed by. If we already have the necessary tools to complete your order, we may be able to fulfill your request with shorter notice, however any orders requiring a rush will incur additional expediting fees. Please note however, we will never over book ourselves, to uphold the integrity of the item, and preserve the best quality desired. 

Pricing will vary depending on quantity, as well as the level of difficulty and detail. Please contact me if you wish to place a custom order, to discuss your ideas and how I can bring your vision to life. For reference all of our cookies start at $24 per dozen. 

Due to the cost of ingredients, and to avoid wastefulness, we will not  accept custom cookie orders in quantities less than half a dozen. This will allow us to maximize use of all products and ensure the level of quality baked goods.

To schedule and reserve a day for pick up, all customers must pay a 50% deposit at the time of booking. We accept payment via venmo, cash app, or in person with cash. Final payment must be received prior to or paid during pickup. 

Delivery service can be arranged for an additional fee, starting at $10 within a 15mile radius of our location. 

Bite Me Sweets is located in Sneads Ferry, North Carolina.

All cancellations must be received no later than 3 days prior to the date scheduled for pick up. Please notify Bite Me Sweets directly via text or messenger in advance of this deadline to receive a refund and avoid loss of your deposit.
